This workshop reviews many of the safety hazards encountered during Move out and work within residence.

Note Prior completion required of online EHS Worker Health and Safety Awareness Training;
Prior completion of WHMIS also required.

A brief review of safety at the University,
duties and responsibilities, worker's rights and injury/ incident reporting,
Specific contents for the landscape portion of the program includes:
landscape maintenance with small machinery including mowers, weed-eaters and hand implements, road side safety and awareness of pedestrians.


Eligibility:
Note Prior completion required of online EHS Worker Health and Safety Awareness Training; Prior completion of WHMIS also expected. This course is designed to provide a safety orientation for full and part-time seasonal workers who perform grounds-keeping and landscape duties for Guelph campus Physical Resources grounds division
