Level 1 Certification is a course designed for staff who are members of a Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC). It is the core training for committee members orienting them to requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, on topics such as the legislation, the role and purpose of a JHSC, and powers of members of JHSC. Discussions cover Workplace Inspections, Work Refusals and Work Stoppages.
Participants must have access to a computer with sound, microphone and camera.
