Target Audience: Building Maintenance and Construction Projects employees who may damage/disturb materials containing Lead, Silica, Mercury, Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) and/or Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) in the course of their maintenance work or construction projects. This high-level awareness training will include the following subjects:

Lead and Silica:
- Properties and uses in buildings
- Health effects of exposure
- Owner and worker responsibilities
- Relevant legislative requirements and guidelines on construction projects
- Recommended measures and procedures for working with lead and silica.

Mercury, PCBs and ODS:
- Properties and uses
- Health hazards
- Applicable legislation



Eligibility:
Building Maintenance and Construction Projects Employees who may damage/disturb materials containing Lead, Silica, Mercury, Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) and/or Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) in the course of their maintenance work or construction projects.
